Will a etec fit in a 2008 summit

Hey just wondering if a newer etec will fit in my 08 summit. The crank is gone in my ptec.

Yes it will bolt right in.

But u need the rest of the etech, tank, harness, ECM, ect

U would pretty much have to buy a 11 or 12 that's wrote off, and transfer it all, upper air box and plastics, dess post, key and all

By time you buy all the parts needed to make a etec work in the p tek sled. Sell it for what you can and buy a running etec. You will be farther ahead

yup its dooable but you'll save money ether buying a short block 800R or parting out and buying an e-tec

send it to trygstad motor sports and get an 872BB with a balanced crank you will not regret it
