Where to ride around Sicamous?

We are going to Sicamous in the middle of January and are wondering where the best place to ride? We are not looking at shooting faces all day! We like to ride meadows and trees and don't mind making a big pull to get to another area. Which riding areas would you recommend?

owlshead or blue lake. We just had 2 of best days ever on owlshead. Sun and deep dry snow. Great area
