water in my diamond drive

doing my diamond drive today and there was some little spots of water and i talked to another guy and he was talking about the vent hole but then he came up with the seal in the back by the gears. Would it be a good idea to change that seal out even if there is just a little bit of water we might not even know that it is the seal that failed

Seals are cheaper than Diamond drives. Replace it.

While you're in there you might as well put in the wider bearing too if you don't have one in already. Water could be from condensation.....just a thought.
