Wanted ktm 505

Looking for an 2007-2009 Ktm 505, would prefer the xcf but would also buy an sx for the right price.

Have spent a fair amount of time on an 2008 505 sxf my brother owns. Love the power, feels like its missing a first gear to me with the four speed though.

If you gear the sh!t out of it you'll love the four speed for the bush. But you will have to add a fan kit to the SX. Great bikes. I love mine.
I might know a guy with one for sale in Rocky. I'll find out later this week and get back to ya if it is for sale. It's a 505 xc I believe.

dont want to be that guy but why just a 505 what about 525, 530 and new 500? all good bikes and more gears

Looking at one 525 converted into an 08 chassis, 540 kit, sx cam, and its based off the exc, so lots of gears, working on the details to get it across the border. 530 is basically looking at a new framed 525, Stock there not really a high rev engines. The new 500 with fuel injection is a sweet ride. Little out of my budget. Ive been riding various 250 two strokes for the last ten years. Love the way the 505 still revs, and has a ton a pull. Hoping the sx cam in the 540 helps out its topend. Mostly ride brule sand dunes.

Also keep in mind you can get a 505 kit for the 08-11 450's. If you want it to rev out i would say just tune up a 450 bigger cc you loose top end rev out. To a certain extent.

Well I picked up myself a 2008 505 xcf today, cant wait for brule april 21.
