For those that like riding their vintage stuff, there is a couple drag racing events coming up.
Obed ice drags Feb 9 & 10: They will run vintage sleds if there is enough to make up classes and they have bracket racing: A 40 year old single lunger could beat out the new 1000cc open mods and go home with a cheque! We will showing some for our vintage stuff as well so if you have something you would like others to see bring with you. Some for our show stuff is restored, some semi restored and some of it is original/unrestored.
Alberta beach Feb17 has a fan class and a vintage class in their snow drags (though I can see it may become ice drags if the snow keeps melting.). They also have a vintage snowmobile show & shine.
Feb 18, 2013 Ft Sask vintage show & shine and ride put on by the historical society.
Feb 23, 2013. Lashburn Sask. Vintage drag racing. Classes for every machine built before 1981
4 of the 5 machines we will be racing at each of these venues are riders first, show machines second and racers third. It's about enjoying this old junk!
