Hi folks,

After all your helpful input last week, I got the M-Line Pro 7 foot deck installed. Really happy with it, but looking for some advice on the best and safest way to tie down two quads.

Both quads are identical Honda Rancher 420's if that helps.

I want to use four heavy duty ratchet straps per machine, but just looking at the ideal placement.

Pictures of your setup would be great!

Mount an anchor at the front of deck. Use trailer safety chains on front of quad. Heavy ratchet strap on the back axle. This is how I did it when I was surveying. Never had a quad move on it.

I have always used 2 straps off the front racks to front corner of my deck and the middle hole and 2 straps to the rear hitch mount to the back loading bar I have never had an issue with a quad moving or a strap coming loose I like to use the good straps with the carabiner on one end to hook to my deck

PM Tex and he'll be happy to coach you and approve your tie down method (s).

Off the racks is not good for your shocks and springs. And if you you hit a big bump they can unhook easily. Keep you straps as horizontal as possible

Who is this Tex fella? How does one find him or does he find you? ;)
Mythical creature but I've heard if you're at the owls lot Saturday or Sunday mornings you may catch a glimpse
