Transportation from Edmonton to Valemount (return)

I'm planning a trip to Valemount and I have to meet a freind there. I don't have a set of wheels and will be flying into Edmonton from Newfoundland. Just wondering...are there any options in addition to Via Rail or the Greyhouse bus? The schedules for the train and bus are brutal! Are there any smaller bus companies operating along this route?

A good start is when you are planning to do this. If someone has an extra seat they might be willing to split fuel one way, but it would help them if they knew when you were coming??

Good point.... Anytime after 2 PM on April 4 for travelling from Edmonton to Valemount. Anytime after 4 PM, April 7 form travelling from Valemount back to Edmonton. I'm flying out of Edmonton at 11 am on April 8th.
