Slightly flare the ends and use transmission oil cooler hose and use the hipressure fuel injection clamps(gear clamps) .... Can always double clamp each end to make sure doesn't leak. Shouldn't have any problems after that, but you can get some aftermarket hoses from bumper to bumper, that are much improved over the stock oem hoses.....
We just cut thru (barely) the crimp rather than the whole tube, and break them (the crimps) off. Replace the hose (if necessary and like Ric said, use high pressure hose) and use gear clamps. The pipes are already flared this way.
You can doo it.... Probably hours worth, but use the good hose clamps(fuel injector hose clamps -- or hi pressure hose clamps). Be sure to recheck and top up the fluid afterwards.
