I am looking at purchasing a set of Tracks for my 800 Polaris ranger. I am looking at the new prospector pro tracks by polaris and the tatou utv 4s. Just wondering pros and cons of both. Thank you all for any ifo and input!!!
Hi 1Knight, just finished putting tracks on my Rhino today, first of all, plan on taking a good 8 hours to do the job, and have a friend to give you a hand on the install.
Go on utube and have a good look at the camoplast vidoes.
The machine with tracks on will almost go straight up, lots of bottom end power. My cab is enclosed so it very noisy in there, hearing protection is needed. You will loose 1/2 your speed due to the gear reduction, and that means more fuel too. Being very new to this game I will have to learn as time goes on.
I also put a 12000btu heater in the cab, that makes it quite comfortable
