Hi All

We groomed the Ministik Snowmobile Trail System in North & South completely

The trails are PERFECT probably 6" to 10" base

The North trail has been groomed 4 times now and is flat as a pancake

The South has had 2 complete grooming

Warm weather has iced up the trails - recommend using scratchers until it get groomed again - or a big dump of snow

Weather permitting will groom again around January 31, 2014

NO QUAD - SIDE by SIDES or other vehicles on the SNOWMOBILE SYSTEM-- PERIOD -- NO EXCEPTIONS

Yes I would

It has been a bad year for making ice...
Heavy November snow made slush that froze making the top 2" of bad ice
Then lots of snow on warm lake water and the ice never froze properly to clear / blue ice - it is crap ice.
There are a lot of springs on Ministik, Joseph, Oliver and Larry lakes and with all this snow you do not know how much ice is actually under the snow.

With the very warm weather the lake snow melted and is sitting on the original lake ice -- makes the ice deeper but not any better
This freezeing temps will make melt/freeze snow on the lakes rough as hell

Stay away from dark patches on the lakes - indicates water is/has been under the lake snow -- but you do not know if it is water on top of the lake ice or a spring with almost no ice

Also watch for frost heaves on the lakes now with this cold weather
