Well it was 60 bucks when I bought it and I've had it on my switchback assault for 3 seasons now and never had a problem, definitely well built. It's certainly easier than removing the sway bar. I think it's worth it, but your mileage may vary. I keep the sway bar connected when on the trail and when I go off trail in power lines or fields I'll take the 20 seconds and disconnect it.

You could also make one pretty easily by just using the stock sway bar connector bar, removing the bottom bolt and using a retaining pin / linch pin like this one:
