summit 1000 engine light flashing

Battery went dead on my 05 summit rt 1000 and replaced battery and charged fully and now the darn engine light keeps flashing at me. Starts fine but not sure if i want to take to the mountains with engine light flashing. Any ideas what this could be?

Take it for a rip I remember something similar when I had one of those if you can get full RPM you should be fine. You may have something drawing on that battery or most likely its just had its day pretty sure that light is a low voltage indication. Its just an extra pull to get it started batter will charge at higher rpm.
