Also don't forget to align the plastic tabs up properly so you don't break them off, especially if it's cold.

How heavy are the hood assemblys on these? Just curious how much weight a guy can save with a diamond S hood.

Whats the best way to make sure you align the intake tube with the rubber for the airbox when putting the hood back on? I can only see it from the outside, and not from the inside

I just slide it on and it went right in, did not have to even look at it....some guys say this is not easy but it is fast and easy in my opinion, in 10 years with over 20 sleds i have never had to open the hood while out riding.
