How important is a skid plate?

Wouldn't have a sled without a RPM. Have had one since 2008 and has kept my sleds strait and without damage .
Have taken some hard hits by rocks and stumps and nothing for damage.
The product is top notch and couldn't deal with a better fella.
If you want to play the odds don't put one on and replace the front structure if you hit something.
See what someone will pay for a used sled that is twisted .lol

These skid plates are worth they're weight in gold!!! A couple of my sleds probably wouldn't be around today if they didn't have them..
