Some of the ones have an adjustable ski stance. The guy that I got mine from had the skis on the opposite sides (so the wider part of the ski was to the outside and he had the skis mounted in the setting that made the stance wider and he had the steering arms adjusted out the farthest.
I changed it all and went as narrow as it could go and I love it.
Not sure how mech inclined you are. For me it was a pain in the but because the adjustments on the steering rods. We had to go inside the hood to adjust as there was not enough adjustment on the outside. A buddy of mine with the same sled (02 edge) had no issues. Just gotta make sure the skis are aligned good and are straight and if not make the adjustments.
For more stability on the trail Id maybe look at the spring tension on your front shocks and setting that for flatter cornering ext. Might help.
