Dynamo Joe sends a purple with white line for the mountain kit on a XP. From what I understand you can put that in and 20.4 grams and ride out in saskatchewan? He has a dual kit that will give a little better performance in the low lands, any one know the spring. I am hopping to just change the weight between here and revelstoke, be easier than changing the spring also.

I can't remember exactly, have you looked at his site?

Best thing to do is email him and ask, bet he can send you the other spring for cheaper than you can get it elsewhere.

Off the top of my head the purple/white is 175/360 which is what he just sent me as an upgrade to the previous spring 160/350 black I think the spring you are looking for is a 300/250 for flat land.

If you are already pulling the primary off to change pin weight, you are talking about 2 minutes to change springs really.

If I was doing both, I would run the stock pins on the flat land stuff and just keep my other pins already set up for the mountain and change springs.

160/350 Primary spring, QR 11 Helix, Clicker 4 and about 15.3g of pin weight is good for around 7000' on a stock sled.

Thanks Trav.

@inside; the reason for the primary spring change is so you will have 3800 engagement.

Example
200/350 primary spring
15.3g
4200 engagement

175/xxx
15.3g
3900 engage

160/xxx
15.3g
3800 engage.

If you are blessed with a day of fresh 3 foot say, then would you want the high engagement that is not that manageable?
For the 10 minutes it takes to change the spring, i think its an investment in not getting stuck when hitting the throttle.

thanks
joey
