What's the best bang for your buck for residential?

We have installed a few Lorex systems at work and they seem to work well. Got from Costco. It would be nice to install a system at home as well. I'd like to hear if anyone has experience with other systems.

I ordered aS610 from . Works pretty good, has pan tilt and zoom and has pretty good night vision.

cannot comment on systems but when i worked with police for our neighbourhood watch program was told if you do not have signs up letting people know they are under video surveillance then if anybody is caught doing wrong on camera the footage cannot be used in court.this was a few years back and may have changed. hate to see a person spend money on video surveillance that cannot be used in court to put thieves away
