Ordered a new tire for the XR. I'd like it to carve more like the pint. I was tempted by the treaded tire but went with a soft hoosier tire. I ride too much paved path to justify the treaded tire yet. Extended range will be a bonus. Pricey little bastard though!

Post up your review when you get some miles on it.

I’m not sure I see the need for the treaded tire. I haven’t noticed any wheel slipping issue even yesterday when it was wet and muddy. The smooth tire already had too much mud sticking to it. I figure the treaded one would just collect more buildup.

Bigger issue in wet and muddy conditions is dirty shoes a slimy grip tape.
