new to sledding need some help

hey guys the other day i bought my first sled, and being an atv and dirt bike guy all my life..........i dont know very much about them
i have rode them lots but never worked on one before
the track is chewed and i am looking to replace it, i am wondering what kind of track to stick on it and how to change it out
and anyother pointers about the engine or other things to look for would be greatly appreciated !
oh its a 1998 yamie vmax 700 short track
and i would be riding it mostly around edmonton and a little in bc around nelson

If you put a 136 or 144 X 1.75" or 2" you should be good for around here, enough for playing off trail, won't be a hill climber but you should be able to get around in BC
