Pvr nightmare today boys and girls. The Xfinity race started this morning and had two red flag rain cautions and only got in 40 laps so NASCAR postponed that race again to after the Cup race which they hope will start on time. I’d set your PVR for continuous running to midnight haha.

Race was good what I saw of it. My boy Ryan Blaney brought it home tonight with a very strong car and punched his way into the playoffs! Sadly the wife messed up the last 37 laps on the PVR so haven’t seen the finish but happy to see the 12 in victory lane.

Some hurt feelers in and after the race as Denny Hamlin got hooked at 190 mph by Chase Elliott after they fought over real estate on the track and then the same with Bubba and Almirola who got into a shoving match after the race after Bubba yelled obscenities at Aric when they had a heated discussion regarding an on track incident in stage 2. Fun times!

NASCAR announced today Chase Elliott will be suspended 1 race for his actions at Charlotte this weekend with Denny Hamlin. Surprisingly Cory Lajoie will drive the 9 car next race as Spire is letting him off for this opportunity. This pretty much confirms that Josh Berry will be leaving the Hendrick/Earnhardt stable at year end to drive for Stewart Haas in the vacated 4 car.

43 car penalized an L1 penalty of cash, suspensions and 60 points for modifying the greenhouse area (cockpit area) not sure what they did but I’m sure it kelps the car somehow go faster
