Wondering where the best spot is to mount my muff pot on my 11 M8?

mine works great on my m1000 right on the Y pipe.Use the good $5 clamps from princess auto not the 2 dollars ones.They will rattle loss

On an M8 I mounted it on the can just before the exhaust pipe exits the sled had frozen dogs in it for about 2 hours and they were just barley defrosted...so plan on moving to the y-pipe...

Can = defrost cycle

y-pipe = Cook cycle

y pipe got too hot for me. i put mine at the end of my insulation beside the coolant bottle. i do have an aftermarket intake which leaves me plenty of space for my hood to close.

I use a Hotpot and already ruined two bases with mine on the Y-pipe. They appear to be made of pot metal.... retards.

i have mine right on after the y-pipe....woked great for me after 3 or so hours food was perfect
