Little help on a custom build

Hey guys,
So Im doing a custom build golf cart buggy. I bought an 84 Honda 200es engine. Haven't had it running just yet, and was wondering when looking from the rear end of the ATV what direction does the drive shaft spin while in forward gears? Clockwise or counter clockwise? Thanks a lot for your help.

If its like cars it will be clockwise. Can you just turn it over buy hand?

I take it's shaft drive. Look at the rear end if the pinion gear is on the left it will spin clockwise and if it's on the right it will spin counter clockwise. And that's standing at the back of the trike.

Just put it in gear and roll it forward.

I will take your advice on the pinion. The engine is not in the trike. Thanks for the help guys I appreciate it.
