Kill Switch?????

Hey guys this may sound stupid but on my XP im trying to wire a toggle switch near the choke. Its all hooked up but the sled wont start. I just assumed that the two wires needed to complete the circuit or not. Is it more complicated than that?

If your toggle switch is the kill switch? It needs to be open to start. (wires not connected)

OK Ya sorry forgot to mention that the switch is gonna be the kill switch. So it is that simple? Open or closed will do it?

No open or closed will not do it, like flabba said the curcuit has to be open to start.

Yes, just a simple on off toggle switch will do it. You just need to flip it the other way to off and it should start.

k got it. Thanx guys. The connections were touching thats all. All fixed
