I’m trying to help a buddy out tracking down some parts for a mid 1980’s John Deere 1026 walk behind snowblower but not having much luck, hoping someone might have one out in the junk pile collecting dust. I’m looking for the worm gears for the auger drive, specifically the aluminum gear off the auger itself, and the wheel for the transmission drive that has the rubber on the outer edge. Let me know if you can help a fella out!

Thanks all,
Cheers!

If the Kelowna area is not too far check Castanet. There is a guy that parts out outdoor equipment. He advertises as grampas garage.

Found out last Xmas that a lot of those auger drive units are "generic" parts. Lots of different manufactures use the same gears. Bought like new ones from a repair shop to fix my 4 year old machine. Filled the gear box with gear oil instead of grease. Now the gears get lubricated.
