Talked to the girlfriend about making a vacation of it. And 15g for the black 02 that would be well over 30 around here, makes my pants tight :p

Lift has to be removed. I only know one person who has ever gotten one across, everyone else had to pay some guy like $1000 bucks at the border to rip the lift kit out so they could go home.

us lifted trucks are a NO GO.. stop looking before you find something you really like

Lifted trucks cost a lot less then you think if you know how to buy parts. When I sold mine before I got probably 100% return on the parts based on how much more I got for it vs a stock truck. Heck I use to buy tires, lifts, etc and sell them later for what I paid, sometimes more. And buying one already lifted, you better know what your buying or you could have a massive headache on your hands and maybe a vehicle that isn't even safe to be on the road.

Cant really match that price up here. plus nobody around here is a dealer of any lifts bigger than 8-10 inches, if i got to spend $1000 to get the lift off at the border then I am still a hell of a lot farther ahead than if I was to buy one in canada

Rip It in Sherwood Park installs lifts that big. priced out an 8" for my 03 F-350 which was $2700 not including labour( note that the 03 is leaf springs all around). Have a 4" right now and it looks good, but looking for bigger.

On my dodge I put a 8" lift with all the extras like replacement leafs bilsteins, etc, 38x15.50R20 nitto mud grapplers, 20x10 moto metal chrome wheels, road armor bumper with grill guard for a cost of about $8,500 all brand new stuff. Like $2k for bumper, $4k for wheels and tires, and $2.5k for lift. All from the states, drove to the border to pick it up. With a few more extras I got about $14k more for my truck when I sold it then a stock one.

There is some decent prices locally but few and far between.

haha my current truck has a 10 inch lift on it with 35s and is one of the bigger ones around lloydminster. When I get a diesel I want it to be one of the biggest and baddest and still be able to have fun in the mud with it. that is why I want a huge lift like that lol. if I was building the truck myself I would go with full throttle suspension because I have heard lots of good things about them and they make lifts up to 24 inches.
