F1 and Porsche are developing bio gasoline… F1 can not go electric, it would be ruined. Porsche knows this too.

Why can't it go electric? You could do 20second battery swaps if you wanted.

You absolutely could, but in the eyes of many in detracts from what F1 really is. To me F1 is about the radical engineering and cutting edge technology of the internal combustion engine, the race is just the showcase of that.

Current F1 engines are outputting 1000+hp at 10,500rpm from 1.6 liter displacement, and have a pretty exhaustive list of metals and composites they aren't allowed to use to make that happen. Wouldn't be hard to replace that with a battery and a motor, but where's the fun in that?

F1 cars have hybrid technologies already , and there is all electric races similar to f1.

But definitely love the sound of a f1 car at full rpm!
