I have 2 different windshields for it also, I think the stock one will keep the snow out of the intake better than the small one, we will see, ill try them both when the time comes.. super light hood compared to stock.. fits nicely also.. 1 decal coming aswell.. anyone know where I can find a lime green x decal to fit on the windshield?

ill go out to the shed and get the number for you guys in a bit, remember the dealer you call for the hood has to be set up with the race dept to be able to get these things, not many dealers are..

Yeah It has a light weight airbox built in. It is also lighter than the Mountain fit hood, The way it clips in is nicer, than the Mountain fit hood I looked at and looks better IMO.

The Mountain fit is less $ to buy and would hold up better in a roll over ext.

The BRP hood is Lexan the Mountain fit is polycarbonate.

Short windshield looks best. The carbon wrap looks like the stuff you can get at canadain tire, nice ans thick and wraps on anything. Did my sled deck with it

The BRP's Lexan is Way thinner material than the Mountain fit, I don't think it is the same kind of plastic?? Im not a chemical engineer, so I can't tell you if there is a chemical difference.

edit: On mountain fits website says its 3lbs 6oz. Thats about my guess on the BRP hood for weight.(but maybe its even lighter yet? never weighed it, but is very light)I looked at a white Mountainfit XM hood, and It was heavier than the BRP?? So maybe just check em out
for yourself. I like my bRP hood though, if it breaks I will probably try Mountainfit.

Hope this helps. If not just disregard...lol
