clutch noise on start up!

hey all just a quick question, my 2005 brute force 750 on start up makes sum clanking from the clutch case but when its started it is fine, and runs great, will i wreck anything driving it like this??? also what do u all thnik it could be??? thnx again all

does your 2wd - 4wd go back and forth on the dash ?

nope, its like the starter spins then lets go, and i have to start it with the pull cord wich SUCKS, the machine is an 05 bf750 and this just started, sumtimes it will make a hard pitch squeal and then sumtimes after i pull the cord it changes also sometimes goes, any inpt would be good, thinken i may need a starter
