Our company computers were hacked and the thieves managed to get onto our online bank account and transfer out 45k. Hopefully we get it back but there’s is no guarantee.
The thieves did this by sending some sort of computer update that our administration unknowingly installed, once this was done they were able to obtain passwords and user names.
Be extremely careful when you update your computers and be diligent with your staff about these kinds of frauds. Hopefully this can save someone this headache.
