Ya I am redoing an 1996 yamaha phazer and i am thinking about taking it to the mountains. It is not the phazer mountain lite and it just has the 121 track. just looking for some ideas/mods that i could do to the sled. I already have the 136 skid and track.

You'll definitely need some traction on the running boards (and support). I added tunnel supports for an RX-1 to mine which worked fairly good and stopped the bending. Cover the vents infront on the headlight as snow will drop down and freeze up the cards. I had a 136x1.75 paddle track on mine...very tough to get stuck. It got around great in the powder just no hill climber.

Here's a couple from Kamloops. Spring riding at Crowfoot and DEEP powder riding at Allen Creek (Valemount).

What size drivers did you use with that 1.75' track?

I installed a 7 tooth driver; it did rub a bit if I bottomed out the suspension but never noticed it in the powder. I trimmed about 3/4s of the paddles to 1.5.

It always went great in the powder (and still does). It's full throttle all day but that little motor can take it. I replaced the rings at 5000km and re-honed the cylinders and have since put another 1000km on it.
