I have one it it has been great so far. I've gotten 10 miles out if the stock antenna here in AB. Haven't had any issues talking to other riders in the mountains.
Plus you can talk to the loggers if you need to.

I agree. I will not ride without a garmin rino. When everyone in the group has one it makes the ride so much better.


Yeah Rhino's are the cats ass for the trees. I only have a BCA (as you already know) But if I find one on sale im going to pick one up.

But some sort of radio, is the minimum you should be carrying for backcountry communication.

Baofeng UV5R is roughly $40ish and the Rhino is $600ish. someone explain what is the big difference in the two

I ordered mine on amazon. Came with 2 batteries and I got the wired mic for it.

Motorola has a mic that is compatible with the Garmin Rino 650 and it works great! Number on the back of the mic is NTN8867A.

I was talking about the Baofeng. I have a rhino 650 also which is a great radio. Try to buy a US version since it has higher wattage.

I have a Baofeng too, good radio for 50$

Got my sled fixed! Yahoo. Took em an hour and I did 5 hours of driving.... You know whats worse than sledders with no radio?

Puzzies with no fawking snow tires going 40km/h down the trans Canada....,.
U donthave to tell me lol

hey lilduke i will be in revy this weekend..... if u can put the shock in your truck.... hopefully we hook up around the big eddy market.... and i can then grab the shock from u ...lets see what happens... cool beans...

Mikes on a 174 TSS Turboed T3,, and he says to me "Man that Sled of yours sure goes good" haha

His sled is pimp,, but tree riding takes good cardio.
