96 polaris all wheel drive switch

i have a 96 polaris sportsman 500 and it seems the all wheel drive switch is acting up sometimes it worls some times not . was wondering if anyone has installed one before i need to do the iring right from the front hubs up .

Twice I had similar problems, both times was a broken wire at the hub near the coil magnet.

I agree with bigfoot, I've seen the wires break at the struts near the hub. If they're ok, check you're wheel bearing adjustment and change the hub oil. Those Polaris hubs need constant maintenance to work well.
