they could all drop an easy 20 pounds if they COULD drop the exhaust and use a light weight hood! I hope they dont try to cut weight off of something that needs to be strong!

Rumour on Snowest is that they are getting rid of the chaincase and going to a belt drive, to shed some weight.

Yea theirs a few things that they could shave weight off that don't make a difference in the sleds strength.

This is correct, they are losing 15lbs and belt drive replaces chaincase.

bahaha the lighter the sled gets means the bigger you get to gain. compensation right.. hahah just jokes. But yes im sure Polaris is thinking of going to belt drive and shedding pretty good number in weight, without losing any strength. Still by far the #1 sled out there.
