Girlfriend put the frt end underwater up to the bars. Day later the pwr steering and dash unit quit for a while then all OK. Anyone know which connections to start finding water in?

Thanks

Same thing happened with my 850, check the connector at the power steering unit itself. Both the display and EPS use the CAN data link to communicate by, if both are acting up or failing to function properly then most likely it is that connector as it houses the two data link wires. It will be the connector on the R.H. side of the EPS. Blow it dry and then of course use dielectric grease to seal it.

Careful on orientation of this connector as it will go back on 180 degrees out as it is not keyed for position.
