2008 yamaha nytro revs up and down

My 2008 yamaha nytro was blowing fan motor fuses, so I took it apart and rewired the circuit, after putting it all back together I started my sled and it idled at 2800rpm, then would drop and come back up, The display would show 2800rpm ,then just after it the rpm dropped it would show like 80 rpm, My check engine is flashing. I think I must of unplugged something when I took it all apart, but I cant see anything unplugged, How do I check codes?

Disconnect fuel pump connector. Hold reset and select at the same time. Turn key on while holding buttons for a few seconds. Should go into diagnostic mode. I am pretty sure if you do a search on here or Google you will find the codes list. It's also in the service manual. Good luck let us know what your findings are

the check engine light & code will flash on & off when running in the lower right corner when looking at gauge,go here,has codes & step by step of how to get to diagnostic mode.

Thanks for the info, turns out my throttle adjustment was out causing it to rev to high and the sled would cut out as the throttle was not being pushed, thanks again!!
