I have a 2005 arctic cat 500, the 05's-07's were probably the beefiest of all of the arctic cats made, my 500 has bigger stronger racks then my 2012 mudpro 1000, and sits almost as high, of course the tires are what gives the extra height, 26's compared to 28's. Make sure you put in a fuel filter in before the carb. I have had problems with dirt getting stuck in the plunger for the float and flooding, just this weekend in -25 windchill i got to take the carb apart in the hay field and get the crap out. After that it worked like a charm. I put 26" zillas on my quad, and lightened the rollers, made it a lot more fun, a snorkel and a glass pack exhaust made it even more. Highly recommend it! Just get the carb set right and you'll be laughing.
