i have a 2005 skidoo summit x 1000 sdi 162" i blew the motor the head leaked and blew motor does anyone have a used motor i can buy or know where i can get one or a crate engine

Way cheaper to get it rebuilt, good luck finding a good used one for sale.

Keep an eye on Kijiji exact same thing happened to my old mans 1000 im thinking he picked one up for $3000ish included clutches ect good luck.

Try snowest classifieds they sometimes come up for sale on there. But with that being said you can rebuild it then you know exactly what you have in it and your not buying some miled out engine.

Ill sell you my 2005 summit 1000 x 162. Motor was never blowen but got specailty sleds to rebuild the motor from top to bottom 400 kms ago.
