just had to bring mine in

found last weekend a little nut on my running board
found than out that the nut with a piece of bolt broke of the primary clutch
the bolt is on of the bolts holding the weights to the spider
so i kinda think thats my beltproblem
blew 2 belts on sunday in 3 hours so something had to be wrong

phonecall and he tells me my primary need complete rebuild and secondary also some little thing

what really pisses me off his saying at 10 in the morning today (droped off sled saturday)
"oh good u phoned i just ordered all ure parts !"

i hate stuff like that when i wanna know whats wrong with my ride is he not suposed to phone me and get my permission if i want to get it done

and than he even ordered different weights cause elevation isnt that high here
wtf
if there are mountain weights in it just order them "there must be a reason"

blabla

pretty much all i wanna know he told me 350-400 bucks

is that now a high price for it or ok like that ?
i know all the parts for primary are 104dollars stock arctic cat parts so should i just let him do it or do it myself
problem is i really took half day of friday just to go to mc bride so kinda tuff decision

primary
-new weights
-new spring
-new busching
-new bolts
-new nuts

secondary
-cant remember something little

Those 02 clutches are easy to work on. If you have any mechanical inclination, the things you posted are easy to do. For the bushing just warm up the outer edge use a socket or something to push it out. Weights, springs, pins, nuts and thrust washers are easy. It's likely the labour that he's adding up, but even then it seems like alot.

i also heared already its a easy fix and even me being a car mech

problem is local arctic cat dealer doesnt have the weights in stock
he already ordered him today
so maybe just pay that little money shark this time and after that sled want see his shop again

cause i REALLY wanna go to the mountains this weekend took half friday of already and booked rooms
so would really suck if i couldnt get her done just to safe 100 bucks

he still should give me some kind of waranty on the rebuild than or am i wrong ?
i just mean if i still blow the belts is he reliable for it than ?

What parts do you need? I have a good collection of springs and weights.

Just so you know (in case dealer can't fix you up fast enough), I have the spring, brand new weight pins+, weight bushings and new thrust washers. Weights I would have to check but think I have something close.

Hope you Git Er Done.
