01 polaris xc sp 800

Dose anyone know of a shop that makes a big bore kit for 2001 Polaris XC SP 800??? It seems like the 01 was the odd ball year.. Any info would be great... Thanks:d

I have an 01 XC 800 SP and I think the primary difference is that the 01s do not have exhaust valves.

The bottom ends are the same so if you buy cylinders etc. for a later model (02-05) they should bolt right on.

You may want to read up on the 800 crank issues before proceeding.

Apparently a lot of the RMKs (and a much smaller percentage of XCs) have crank failures with stock power levels so I would assume the problem would probably be magnified if the bore/power is increased.
