Hi, I am new to this sight. I have a question about a problem I have with my 01 800 xc. I am new to sleding and just bought this in the fall it has 1100mi on it. Ran good when I brought it home and in the fall. First time it snowed and had it out was perfect. Next time went to start it could not pull it over and found gas under it. Pulled the plugs and the engine and exhaust were full of gas. Pulled the carbs and found a bad oring in the float. Put it back together and it ran great. The next time rode it, it began to miss horriable at low rpms and speed. Take it out and open it up and it runs fine. Carbs are both clean. New plugs too. Can't figure out why it has such a miss now and did not before. I did do nothing to the carbs but replace the oring. It is driving me crazy. Any Thoughts?

check on bottom of crank case on front side of motor under your exhaust y pipe for drain plugs on crank case pull out both plugs pull over sled with iginition off a couple pulls check and see if any fuel drains out of the drain holes my guess is that if the exhaust was full of fuel the crank case also filled up with fuel to and it is fouling the plugs at low speeds and at idle but at high speeds under higher compression it doesnt foul the plugs hope this helps as i had the same problem on my 01 rmk 700 last winter
