    800 r crate motors

Trying to sell my 07 with the original motor (2800 kilo). It appears that I will have to sell it much lower than I anticipated. Does any one know what a crate motor is worth as I am thinking of buying and installing a new motor to cut my losses. Thanks in advance.

    2007 800r motors

I have posted my 2007 summit x for sale in the skidoo classifieds. I have had some inquiries and typically get asked if it has the updated motor. It is still the original with 2800 km. Is there any way that I can validate whether or not it is one of the engines with a crank bearing issue. Thanks

    Need some advice

I have a buddy that is interested in a used sled. The reason i am posting this is because he is a both tall (6'4") and weighs 320 lbs. I ride a 07 summit x 800r, and not sure if it would be enough to handle his weight. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Corbin pictures feb. 13/10

Nice day riding with my wife and rod. The trail was nicely groomed and but the snow conditions are still weak. Pockets of powder in the trees. But still a good day. Definitely better than sitting around and waiting for the big snow fall.

    Looking for a riding buddy

Looking for some one to ride with that mainly rides the crowsnest area, but would take a couple of trips to revelstoke each year. I have a two place open trailer. But could also take a third sled in the box. I am an older guy (in my 50's) and would consider my self an average rider. Enjoy riding...

My wife and i rode back to the notch yesterday from the morrisey staging area. The trail to the cabin was groomed and smooth. Had a great ride with roger, ray and friends. Paid for our trail passes at corbin town site loading area and rode for the first time in that area, on a smoooooth, freshly groomed trail. Drove about 15 kilo into the back bowls. Not a lot of deep fresh powder, however it was still great fun...

I'm sure that most of you that have ridden for a long time have been asked this question before. I have an 07 summit x - 151 800r. Ride primarily in the mountains. Older rider that weighs 150 lbs. What would you adjust to the front and rear suspension over the stock settings. Thanks in advance...

How to ride the back country

After reading some of the posts on the CBC regarding this years tragic loses, and all the intelligent responses, it is time to redefine how to sled the backcounty. Firstly, you must proceed to the Ticket Master booth for the official weigh in. If you are not a least 60 lbs. overweight you...

    Frisby this past weekend

Would like to thank Matt, Rhonda, Jackie, Dale, Steve, Curt, Mike, Jason and Dan for the past weekend riding. This was the most fun I have had riding since I started. Glad to be part of the sledding community. Started sledding again at the young age of 55. First purchased a 2003 Summit 700 three years ago which my wife now rides and just purchased 2007 Summit X 800 this season. The friends that I sled with have taught me so much about riding, that I hope to...
