I have an old
sos tranceiver that I use as a spare. Used to send it out to SOS in St Albert every 7 years for a recert. Wondering if a service like this still exists? Do I throw it away?

The trail into Old Friend is not well marked and many of the meadows look the same. Please be careful if you are unfamiliar with the area. I have been in many times and have still spent a bunch of time looking for the right meadow.
I have been looking at taking this course for a few years and closest available is Vancouver. This could be available much closer if enough interest. A few are already on the list need a few more. Possible to find a central location for those interested. Would be a certified course, full 40...
