Ran bakers clutching since 2011 on my last three sleds really like his work , smart guy but he usually likes to run different ramps, changes pin weight, and usually some gearing depending if you running belt drive or not.
been running hd springs for years have mine on 5 and bigger guy unless i sit on bumper no sag keeps boards of snow and reduces drag highly recommend changing to hd springs best 120$ you'll spend
if a tether is the biggest complaint you can find on a xm i think thats a good thing and run the factory tether if you want it does work and that is what its designed for but your problem could come back its pretty unlikely but possible if you want to avoid it you can get a pingle tether pretty...
happened to me back in 08 and my 14 did the same thing one key covered under warranty and always carry a spare this problem is old goes back to the older days, helps not to use it for a tether but to install another one if you like using a tether.
i have a few flow rites at the top in the hood and did have them in side panels just too help get heat out, but now have no vents in side panels. but i'm now running the "blow hole" from Mtntk Performance and it works amazing the volume of air flow and clutch heat it pulls out is incredible...

riding a 13 xm with 7 tooth drivers and 9 inch rear wheels with stock rails. witha 162 by 16..bigger wheels take away kick up on back rails and helps eliminate wheelie, limiter strap is in one hole, rode it at stock setting and came over backwards all day. i do have heavy duty springs set on max...
Bakers 174 3inch waxed my 13 climbing and ride with two other 3" both with 872s but needless to say dialed in now all three sleds are very very impressive took a bit to get then clutched right but they rock now
Saving weight And less rolling resistance but the skid makes a huge difference eliminates wheelie and baker is working on his R-Motion keeping the m10 idea and working T motion so far been working great
ride with a 174 and a 163 with both belt drive and bakers skid works great, Baker has it on his 174 too all have been awesome this , know and 11 with it too

and you dont have to cross windy ridge coming from owlshead were you climb up on the right of that back hill in hunters most tend to head to the left and its a much easier ride and kinda just ride the gully up to the ridge but its nice and easy
