After never running a stock can on a sled since my 1987 Arctic Cat EXT it’s time to give it a go. The can I had on never gave me any issues at all; but I do trust the opinions of guys that say there is losses or changes in power curves with the aftermarket cans. So I guess I’ll be in stealth...
Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this? I am down to just one sled now, and would like to be able to still use the box of my truck in the winter. Seems like losing the use of the box of my truck for the whole winter for the 3-4 trips I actually go on when I need to have my sled on the...
I’ve seen guys heating easy outs with torches to get these things out. Can I just drill them and get them out or what?? And then are the new rivets a pain to put in?? Why not just use bolts and nylon locknuts?
Just wondering what everyone that has stayed here thought of them. Do they have a separate hot tub building? Looks like the chalets are quite nice and lots of parking.
Looking to see where I can pick up some Klotz oil. Not looking to get into one of the 78 page my oil beats up your oil discussions. Just wondering where I can get some. Got some from Dusty on here before but can’t get a hold of him.
Gotta give a shout out to the GML. After over doing it on Saturday and being to sore to ride today I had a place to stay while the rest of the group went for a ride. Way over and above what any hotel needs to do for their customers. Definitely the place to stay for a great friendly experience...
If anyone is sledding in Blue River or Valemount and would like to help search any help would be awesome. They were riding in Groundhog East and he was on his brothers Snow Bike when he was last seen. The group is staying at the Glacier Mountain Lodge. They were out searching by ground all night...
Sounds like Gates and Evo have teamed up and developed a new belt. Check out this thread I found over on SnoWest.

Found this on SnoWest and Arctic Chat. Sounds like anyone that bought a 2012 or 2013 ProClimb should be getting good news in the mail soon.Latest info on drive train improvments - ArcticChat.com - Arctic Cat Forum
Just got my Mad Fab easy board kit and installed it. This kit is designed to reduce/eliminate snow build up on the running boards, as well as it closes off the front of the boards from the engine compartment. It was about a half hour/1 beer install and requires only a drill, 2 bits, a rivet gun...
I found this on SnoWest. Something to think about about when making decisions in the backcountry.
Accident & Rescue Summary:
Four snowmobile riders were out for a day of snowmobiling. Rider A had recently opened a snowmobile shop in Richfield and had a fair bit of experience in avalanche...
Just installed my APP fuel rack. They even sent it off to have it polished before they shipped it. A 20L jerry can slips in there like a glove, but I'm thinking I'll stick to just a 10L.
Looks like Cat is starting to work on some solutions to issues people are reporting as far as first year hiccups.
ProClimb Jackshaft update coming from Arctic Cat - SnoWest Snowmobile Forum
So it begins. I think that by building the ProClimb 800/1100's in a common chassis that is puprpose built to handle the power/weight of a 4 stroke turbo; the performance shops are going to build some awesome high HP sleds without having to worry about the chassis being torn apart over the course...
