It was pretty sweet being the first track to plow into westridge, too bad it was so socked in to go deep into westridge. Epic day indeed.
And I think those first tracks were closer to 2km from the alpine... Just sayin...
Ya it was pretty sketchy in spots for sure, even some decent holes showing up on the trail leading up to and just passed the "swamp" lol. We had no troubles avoiding the main wet spots by going wide, but id give it a week tops at this rate and it'll be all water/slush.
Just after 8km on the Westridge FSR, pulled off the road and unloaded into snow. Was a bit slushy in spots... but still rideable snow from the trucks to the alpine. Ill post a couple more pics.
Rode Westridge yesterday, looked like it was going to be pretty socked in but it opened right up as we got to the top. Only played in the 1st couple bowls. Snow was pretty hard and slippery but you could go anywhere you pointed your sled!! Trail in was okay, wont be long before it starts...
One guy in our riding crew had the 880 last year and went with the stage 2 this year. It ran good for 2 days but siezed on the trail the 3rd day. He talked with Cory lots and I think the conclusion was that he must have cold siezed it. He got the cylinders fixed and new pistons etc, but hasnt...
Lost my shovel handle at Allen creek on Friday. I'm thinking either parking area or trail, didn't notice it was missing until Friday night. It's silver, retractable, black handle, might say mammut on it (can't remember), if anyone happened to see it.
Thanks

XXXmodrods makes a screen cover for the piece between the bumper and hood, they call it "xp stock hole vent covers". Theyre inbetween the "dash and cowl vents" and the "hood vents" on the website
Thanks for the replies! Do you guys know what time either place is open until off hand? Just wondering if I could fill my bottle after riding or in the morning. Thanks again.
Not sure on exact details as of yet, im sure they will be sorted out shortly here.
On another note, if anyone is interested in staying at the lodge on the night of the 5th after riding, they are more than welcome to. We just ask that you make arrangements with Chris and Michelle please...

This is the sled orientated part of the site. It gives a list as you scroll down as to what parts of the mountains are what riding areas. Hope this helps.
I have xxxmodrods 5 piece vent kit for clutch and exhaust vents. I also put the console vents in as well but I dont think they make a kit for the e-tec consoles yet. I like the kit, 3 vents on the clutch side keep the airflow all the time.
Talk to Cory Micku at Revolution Performance Group, thats his own company. He is super helpful over the phone and will be glad to explain his theorys. One of the riders in our group (I do ride with TPOWER) has the 880 Stage 2 in his xp. I couldnt tell you for sure what he runs for a main jet...
