So a buddy bought a used '06 650 H1 and it is in great shape. Neither of us have ever had a cat.The only problem is if you get it up to speed and then brake really hard (basically lock up the rear wheels) it shakes really bad. The motor shakes causing a clicking sound. It is worse on pavement...
Maybe look into a Traxxas Stampede. They come in 2wd or 4wd, you can start with the regular motors and upgrade to brushless as he gets better with it. I have a 4x4 one with brushless motor and it stands up to alot of abuse. Use it in sand, snow, mud with no issue as long as you clean it up. They...

I bought 2 spring loaded holders from yamaha and then attached them to the support tube under the hood on my 2012. Carry 4 extra plugs and don't even know they are there. Holders were cheap, I thinks $8 each.
I downloaded blueprints online and built a sledlift. It is similar to the ones from PA but I used heavier materials. Also have a chain hoist in the rafters in case I need more height.

Does anyone know if the riding areas and sand dunes around edgerton are closed. I've heard a few rumors that they are trying to close them down. One is due to cattle grazing and the other is environmental issues with guys abusing the area. Have also heard that they are patrolling the area and...
