IMOP the best "big bore" engine polaris made was the old 98 700. If I were you I would look into getting the PMS kit. If you did it before you had an engine issue then you shouldn't have to worry about a cylinder so it would be alot cheaper. Not my descision to take trades but I would see why not.
Not worth it for sure. expecially if you still have warranty. Polaris demands a picture of the intake before they will ok warranty. Also it is a waste of money as you gain nothing. If you have a sled that already runs lean is some of the rpm ranges adding air is only going to make it run leaner and more chance of blowing up your engine.
just go to a auto parts store a pickup a grease needle there like 2 bucks. It looks like a needle with a grease nipple on the end of it.Then you could grease the bearings in the suspension wheels, just put the grease needle in the seal on bearing and pump till it oozes out.
went with different spindles just for looks basically. had a 155 last year and thought it was to much. went down in track this year and wish i had more. dad has a 155 pro rmk and i love it 10x more then my sled. have thought about just extending mine but it still doesn't compare to the pro-rmk. just gonna have to take a loss and move on. hopefully i can sell it before snowcheck is over. if not i will have to trade it in and loose more on it.
think I am going to ask $9000.00 OBO. its got 370 miles. 25 hours. first service was just done. its got an mbrp can, extrovert drivers, assault powder track and rails. slp antistab kit. fox float 2 front shocks. better boards. holz racing vents. pro rmk spindles, rear bumper and snow flap. sway bar removed. tether. under seat bag. gas can rack with trail tank gas can. front track cooler removed. so cooling system is similar to a dragon. coolant bypass kit like slp sells. windsheild bag. 3 different windshields. engine compartment foam removed. comes with spare plugs and new spare belt. also comes with both mountain and flat land weights.
no you can give it a wide open burst and then let off and then click ok. selling the rmk to upgrade to a 2012. ran a 155 last year and thought it was too much. went down to a 146 this year and am wishing i had more. most of my riding is in the mountains. demo'd a 2011 rmk 155 and was blown away. so gonna snowcheck a 2012 155 to get my length back.
