    Official REVY Riding Conditions 2015/16

It was nice to catch the last day of sun before our current dump of the white stuff. Riders have told me they have accessed all our mapped areas and more with great snow coverage on every mountain. Now if we can just get enough snow in the parking lots so we can ride groomed trails from the...

    Official REVY Riding Conditions 2015/16

It was great to see so many riders come and spend there week here in Revy. I am sure there must have been over a couple hundred riders here each day since last weekend. The weather might have been a little fogged in but the snow is epic for this time of the year and all we need now is some...

    Official REVY Riding Conditions 2015/16

The pics do the talking and they had a lot to say today. IMO this is some on the best snow for this time of the year I have seen. It's deep, setting up a bit, a lot of the hazards are already covered and unloading in the pit at 2 1/2k on Frisby. The next storm cycle might have us unloading at...

    Official REVY Riding Conditions 2015/16

We unloaded at 10 k which is 2k before the cut block. There is no trailer parking up top so it's trucks and decks only. Looks like another good dump came last night so the weekend looks good, If the sun comes out you should be able to ride around the hazards if your feeling lucky.

    Official REVY Riding Conditions 2015/16

You needed to take a number to get a parking stop on Sale Mtn today with the amount of rider ripping up the first weekend. Great for a road ride but not enough base to go exploring yet and it was a little foggy. About 2 feet, snowing hard and cold and the forecast is for more on the way.

I had loggers in today telling me it was snowing hard at 3000' in the Keystone and just north of Caribou Basin. A few days of sun then more sloppy rain in town. I'll keep you posted as the temps are to stay low from here on.

    Official REVY Riding Conditions 2015/16

It's hard to believe that 2 years ago Craig and I got our first ride on Sale Oct 2nd. Here's what I have been told about this years up coming "Monster" EL Nino by some people that seem to be in the know. It could mean a record year for snow and it all hinges on what the Jet Stream does, if it...

    Official REVY Riding Conditions 2015/16

A bit early but lets get the ball rolling. From what I can remember on about the first week in Jan/15 it started raining then freeze to the top, this went on for most of the month. Feb was snowless and March did not get any fresh until the third week. Well that's all behind us now so lets hope...

    Official REVY Riding Conditions 2014/15

I rode Sale last Sunday and unloaded into the snow right at the highway. A small storm blew through on Friday and dumped about a foot of good snow so I'll that over the lack of not much of anything over the last month. It's cold and rainy in Revy today and the snow level looks to be about 4000'...

    Official REVY Riding Conditions 2014/15

It's almost cheating being on a snow bike in these conditions in respect to where you can go exploring. The crust was a little hard to take down below but it did not that long and straight up threw the trees we went popping out into the alpine. The possibilities are endless so don't ask where we...

It became obvious that you didn't knock down all the snow.

Forgot to share this one with you. Sometimes the terrain just gets a little steep for the snow bike and a good face plant happens. Any guesses where Polguy

Sounds like you ride all the hot shots. A good ball park elevation would be between 6800 and 7300' depending what peak you were standing on with yesterdays best snow that top 1000'. You can get to 8500' in the notch on Begbie if that's something your sled will climb.

    Official REVY Riding Conditions 2014/15

I've been a little lazy about posting any pics lately with all the mild and socked in weather we have had over the last month. The swings from deep pow to raining at 7000' and then freezing solid has happened many times this winter but lets hope that's behind us. It was raining Sunday morning...
