I believe Full Speed will still have some parts and be able to complete repairs. It was just nice when you had warranty on the sled to be able to get the work done right in Revy and not potentially ruin ones trip to the mountains.
I'm hearing BRP made a few demands to Full Speed in Revelstoke and when they were rejected BRP pulled the warranty repair certification from Full Speed. This angers me as I always enjoyed being able to get my sled warranty work completed right in town. Lots of BRP riders will be losing out...
no i check it before every ride but only have a full oil change once a season. i only get out 3-5 times on the bike every year. too busy with work and also like to ride my sled too
Boobage, when straight climbing you are WOT but in the trees your are on and off just like a sled. The only trick is picking the right gear or right time to up or down shift if needed. Usually in deep snow and tight trees I stay in 2nd or 3rd gear and sidehill my way out of any trouble if I'm...
My buddy and I have 2 KTM's 450's that have the Timbersled kits on them. The first ride was last Jan in Revy and like you I was skeptical how well they would work in the DEEP snow. Well after I was riding all day in the trees and alpine I was totally hooked. Lets get one thing straight they hill...
I have a KTM 505 kit with the Timbersled and I wouldn't go any other way. The 2moto will not be good in the deep snow. Not sure about the ad boivin. If your gonna spend the money I would save for the Timbersled or find one used. You won't be disappointed.
I've never had problems filling my propane sled. I always get them to unlock the pump and then just do it myself. As Randy said above in the thread Revy is the most difficult place. Golden has it too.
