Almost correct. 1st Diesel in a full size Ram truck was Mitsubishi.
Cummins also was on the ropes but not that bad. They lost a couple contracts w FORD New Holland that hurt them.

A lot of the expense of a ZTM boils down to the drive motors. 3100’s and above are commercial duty. 2000 series is for the home jobbers. They are not serviceable.
If you want a durable Zero Turn look at the wheel motors. It tells you all you need to know.

I bought a Kubota Z411 in 2013. I mow 2 acres of grass and sort of maintain 2 acres of field mix as well. Kawasaki engine. Great cut. Durable. Problem free. Love it.

Ditto. 7s is a gamechanger when in the back country. Radios were a great leap forward. This provides location as well. Faster response time when seconds count.
I know 2 contractors that have a similar contract here in BC and they are permitted to have the fun stuff. I am working on going for a ‘ride’ with them.
